Brief info - Dr Percharde did her BA (Hons) in Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge, then PhD at the IRDB, Imperial College London with Veronique Azuara and Malcolm Parker. She worked on uncovering the role of the coactivator Ncoa3 in ES cells + reprogramming. Then she moved to UCSF in the USA to work with Miguel Ramalho-Santos for a postdoc in 2013, focusing on investigating role of retrotransposon LINE1 in development, as well as the phenomenon of hypertranscription in early embryo and germline development.
