Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Closing date: 06 January 2020.

We are seeking a motivated Research Fellow to be part of a team to contribute to this research programme in the Forrester Group at the MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine that involves collaboration with the University of Bristol and the Sanger Institute in Cambridge. The applicant will be expected to have published first author papers and have demonstrated the ability to independently write up papers for publication and have contributed to applications for further grant funding.

Research Fellow

We are looking for and enthusiastic researcher at the postdoctoral level to join our team. Ideally, the candidate would have experience in haematopoiesis and/or leukaemia models, with first-hand experience in haematology assays (e.g. haematopoietic chimaeras, colony-forming assays), flow cytomoetry, cell culture and histology. Experience in the generation of genetically engineered vectors and immune cells for immunotherapy and molecular techniques, such as RNA-seq and bioinformatics, would be of particular advantage.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Neurodevelopmental Epigenetics

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic research fellow to join the laboratory of Dr Rob Illingworth to investigate the epigenetic basis of mammalian neurodevelopment.

Candidates who have been awarded, or are soon to be awarded, a PhD in a relevant discipline and have experience with a broad range of molecular biology approaches are invited to apply. Applicants must possess the ability to think independently while working within an interdisciplinary research team to drive research projects towards publication. Candidates with a strong track record in neurodevelopment and/or epigenetics are particularly welcome. Expertise in the transgenic manipulation of mammalian cells, genomics, proteomics and bioinformatics are also desirable.
