Our flow cytometry facility is equipped with a Becton Dickinson FACS Aria II cell sorter, a Becton Dickinson LSR Fortessa, a Beckman Coulter MoFlo^® MLS high-speed sorting flow cytometer and a BD Biosciences FACS calibur flow cytometer.

moflo Cell Sorter

Our Moflo cell sorter has three lasers, a water cooled Argon, a Argon/Krypton mixed gas and a red diode.

FACS Aria II

Our "new" sorter. It has 4 lasers and 16 fluorescence channels! The lasers are: Blue (488nm), yellow/green (561nm) violet (405) and a red (640nm). This is a very versatile and sensitive instrument.

LSR Fortessa

The LSR Fortessa has an identical optical layout to the Aria II sorter.
